Our Journey

I started this blog when my two girls and I began
taking car trips. We have been to Rhode Island, New York, Kentucky, Connecticut, South Carolina, Niagra Falls, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, even Canada! In the car we have created memories of our past and strengthened our bond for the future. I have decided to keep the blog going, not only of our travels, but to document all of the miracles, big and small, in our day-to-day lives. Some of these entries will not be in chronological order as I will enter them as I remember them!

Thanks for taking the ride with us...

65 degrees and we're here!!!

Okay, we only left an hour past our deadline. As you can see, we left at 10:59 instead of 10:00. I would like to blame my brother, Harry, for part of that delay as he called just as we were about to leave! We got here in 7 hours. It was a nice uneventful ride, although we did witness a house fire and a bad car accident. Sandy, Joe and Sophia saw us off and provided us with a nice snack/entertainment box which we managed to wait 2 hours before opening. Thanks guys, we loved the music, especially 'Jeramiah was a Bullfrog.' We have seen green grass, flowering trees, daffodils, tulips and someone was actually mowing their lawn. Sophie was already seen frolicking in her bare feet. We have found spring!

The puppies did remarkably well. No vomit, which is what I was hoping for. We are in for the night now and will decide tomorrow whether we hang out here for another day, or move on further South. It would be nice to find 70 degrees!

Have a good night all, we'll talk more tomorrow.

Love to all...
