Kentucky Eve

Okay, we're coming down to the wire. Six loads of laundry later, we're beginning to pack. We've been to Bed & Bath to get Millie's lip gloss (limeade), we should be ready to go. Sophie has packed Foo-Foo's bag with lots of pink clothes and her yellow slicker. We've decided to also bring Pippy. Millie doesn't pack much for Pippy. My friend, Sandy, volunteered to come over early tomorrow morning to drive me to the airport to get the Jeep. Beth and Kiel came over tonight for our farewell dinner of burritos and nachos. We're looking good!

Day 2, April 3, 2009

Okay, no one can actually find our blog. This is distressing. I can't even find it pretending to be an outsider! I'll have to work on a new name.

Sophie and Millie are all atwitter after I told them of our trip yesterday. Sophie's mind is going many miles a minute with thoughts and ideas. Millie is quietly reflective. There is some argument about which dog, if any, may accompany us. Hugh votes for both puppies going. I've gone on line to find "dog friendly" hotels. I think our trip may be journied around the puppies. Our first stop is Louisville, Kentucky. There's a dog friendly hotel on the border!!!
