Our Journey

I started this blog when my two girls and I began
taking car trips. We have been to Rhode Island, New York, Kentucky, Connecticut, South Carolina, Niagra Falls, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, even Canada! In the car we have created memories of our past and strengthened our bond for the future. I have decided to keep the blog going, not only of our travels, but to document all of the miracles, big and small, in our day-to-day lives. Some of these entries will not be in chronological order as I will enter them as I remember them!

Day 2, April 3, 2009

Okay, no one can actually find our blog. This is distressing. I can't even find it pretending to be an outsider! I'll have to work on a new name.

Sophie and Millie are all atwitter after I told them of our trip yesterday. Sophie's mind is going many miles a minute with thoughts and ideas. Millie is quietly reflective. There is some argument about which dog, if any, may accompany us. Hugh votes for both puppies going. I've gone on line to find "dog friendly" hotels. I think our trip may be journied around the puppies. Our first stop is Louisville, Kentucky. There's a dog friendly hotel on the border!!!

    We always took dogs when we were on shows- any large tote bag will do! The only time we almost got in trouble was when there was a fire alarm and everyone had to go stand outside. Hard to hide a dog for long!
