Our Journey

I started this blog when my two girls and I began
taking car trips. We have been to Rhode Island, New York, Kentucky, Connecticut, South Carolina, Niagra Falls, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, even Canada! In the car we have created memories of our past and strengthened our bond for the future. I have decided to keep the blog going, not only of our travels, but to document all of the miracles, big and small, in our day-to-day lives. Some of these entries will not be in chronological order as I will enter them as I remember them!

Thanks for taking the ride with us...

Tuesday evening

Beach combing
Sophie digging for clams
Sand sweeping across the sand bar
One of the many jelly fish
Hi y'all,

Today we went exploring. We went to Fort Sumter, Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms. We went beach combing but it was so windy and the sand was hitting us so sharply, we had to retreat. The beach was covered with really big jelly fish. It was low tide and the sand bars went out forever. The sand was etched with ripples, if you look closely at the pictures you can see all the designs.
There are some awesome homes here, we love the paint colors they chose. Our favorite one is the lime green. Can you imagine looking out your window at that one?

We've decided that we like Charleston even better than Kentucky. We're already talking about coming back next spring break.
Love to all...
